The Center of Biostructure Research is the group of departments of the Medical University of Warsaw. It was organized in 1974 as the Institute of Biostructure. The Center comprises eight Departments. The Director of the Center is Professor Jacek Malejczyk, M.D., Ph.D. He is running the agenda of the Center with the help of the Scientific Council, formed by the Heads of the Departments of the Center and all associate professors.

The most of departments of the Center are located in 19th century building, which was renovated and adapted to the aims of the modern Medical School.
